Is Beetaloo Basin Fracking Safe for the Environment?

There are Australians who are concerned about the exploration project’s potential impact on the environment. Due to this, we have chosen one of the most frequently asked questions to answer and hopefully clear up any misunderstandings about what the project is and what it means for the environment.

Is Beetaloo Basin Fracking Safe for the Environment?

Yes, the NT government’s Department of Environment approved of the Beetaloo Basin exploration.

The entire process of this project is done in an environmentally responsible way with a priority to reduce the carbon footprint by reusing and recycling water, thus keeping water usage to a minimum. As well as paying attention to every detail of the project, ensuring that the land and water are protected.

Currently, the use of emissions is kept at a minimum because we are still in the exploration phase.
